02R96
My Hall of Fame reverb (purchased in March of 2012), has died. The reverb sounds (on all settings), are nothing but a distorted mis-mash of hiss. It sure didn't last long. Yeah, it's out of warranty... Dan "I hate what I've become, trying to escape who I am..." Scott Fraser
Lame. Too bad, a once really good brand, sadly gone down the toilet. Scott Fraser
02R96
Since it was out of warranty I disassembled it. The technician in me though "MAYBE" it could be something simple like a broken wire or something easy. Nope. It's all double sided, surface mount components. No serviceable parts inside... Well, at least I have a nice die cast box for another pedal project. Hey how about a reverb kit! Dan "I hate what I've become, trying to escape who I am..." A String
Not surprising at all. Sorry about this, Dan. Another reminder to others to avoid TC at all costs. Craig Stringnetwork on Facebook String Network Forum My Music
02R96
What's maddening is the darned thing has been sitting on my pedal board, never gigged, never left my basement studio, and has been powered by an industrial power supply which is highly regulated and ridiculously filtered. It's rock solid at 9.01V no matter what I've connected to it! I've never lost any pedal before this one. :idk Dan "I hate what I've become, trying to escape who I am..." BiC
Maybe we need to make a bumper sticker - "Friends Don't Let Friends Buy T.C. "Friends Don't Let Friends Buy and Hold" Although, I bought at the bottom of the 2008 stock market crash and have been holding ever since with FANTABULOUS returns!
