An inspirational man - highly political, Blacklisted by McCarthy, and a revolutionary banjo player. What a great life.

A gigantic loss to our country and our society. I saw Pete with Arlo Guthrie in the late 80s at Chautauqua. Inspiring concert.

There was a documentary recently called "Give Me The Banjo" narrated by Steve Martin which chronicled the evolution of the instrument as well as many of the great players: Earl Scruggs, Bela Fleck, and of course Pete Seeger (and many others)

The segment on Seeger was pretty long and had quite an interview with him.

I highly recommend it just for informational purposes, and Steve Martin is no slouch on the instrument, either.
