Kawai Es100

Hi ,

I have just got a few questions about this keyboard.I am thinking of buying this after buying a casio px350 (which I am sending back)

I have looked at the manual but where do you plug the Kawai F-350 pedal board in to? The same plug as the sustain pedal?

Also because you have to plug the wire into the front of the keyboard for a line out does it get in the way at all?

How do you transfer the song recorded in the song recorder can you use system exclusive with midi to do that?

I have played the Kawai today and I prefer it to the casio.

Any advice of what speaker system would work well for this, for small size venues? I am looking at the yamaha stage pass 400 and the peavey escort 300. Anybody have experience of either of these?

Thanks

No, the F-350 unit plugs into a different connector, on the bottom of the instrument. I did not write the ES100 owner's manual, however I don't believe this point is mentioned in the owner's manual.

I don't believe so - no more than a headphone cable would. In fact, it is probably less, as the cable is not required to run up towards your head.

I'm afraid I do not know. It may be possible to 'play' the recorded song via MIDI out, however some Kawai instruments disable this to prevent the re-recording of licensed demo song content. Perhaps the more flexible option be to record directly into MIDI sequencer software and bypass the internal recorder.

Regarding speakers, I know the StagePas systems are highly regarded, especially for their competitive price.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards,

James
