Bottom End
I'm digging this album, and the lead off song has a weird and lovely groove, maybe it's just me: [video:youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1G5eBu9ruY4 "Call me what instrument you will, though you can fret me, yet you cannot play upon me.'-Hamlet Guitar solos last 30 seconds, the bass line lasts for the whole song. jeremy c
You might be noticing that in the 3rd measure of the groove the accent is not on one. Free download of my cd!.
Richard W
Day-am. That's a cool song. Thanks for sharing. "Everyone wants to change the world, but no one thinks of changing themselves." Leo Tolstoy
Bottom End
Jeremy, thanks for explaining that. It's a little change like that that really hooks me. The bass tone, and all the production on the album is just fantastic. IT's so nice to see a full band backing a singer, and she has such a voice! Bottom End
Here's the other song from that same show, a bit more traditional, but Bosco Mann and the band lay down a solid groove here, and I love the guitar hook.
