Well, you can troll the thread, or you can put up some music...

:idk

Troll? This is the first Tuesday of the year. And since I don't give a crap about Stephen Malkmus or a Peter Gabriel covers album, which seem to be the only notable releases today, you'll have to wait. :)

You still wait until Tuesday for new music. How cute. :bor:

The new Matt Wilson record, Gathering Call, with John Medeski on acoustic piano only is a great, swingin' time. Haven't heard all of the new Ben Allison but it too sounds very, very good.

I'm looking forward to The Bad Plus' version of The Rite of Spring and to Mark de Clive-Lowe's CHURCH.

I backed Church on Kickstarter. I am also looking forward to that!

That's something I can get excited about. Played that Remy disc to death.

Thanks for that, Philip.

He's been posting nuggets on his YouTube throughout last year, and he's got a freebie on his SoundCloud, too.

  • 2 weeks later...

This album has gotten on my heavy rotation list since I bought it. Dave's right, she's the Real Deal.

I ran into this piece when I turned on the TV that Sunday Morning and it was the kicker to get me to buy the album.
