RobP2
A few years back I was going out with an XK1 and a synth. After trying double x-Stands and an old b100 case I put this together. It was based around a tilting office desk (so I could fit it in the van) with a couple of shelves and sides added. I'll try and find some pics of the finished article. It worked well. http://i1008.photobucket.com/albums/af209/RobP256/leicsoct0112_zps8e998bb4.jpg http://i1008.photobucket.com/albums/af209/RobP256/leicsoct0114_zpsa513d58f.jpg Remember - you can make a record without an organ on it, but it won't be as good www.robpoyton.co.uk

EscapeRocks
Remember the red foldable shell I made? http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh58/escaperocks1/grove5_zpsf2f7d68b.jpg I decided I didn't like it. So out came the paint. Rustoleum gloss black with built in primer and trigger handle. http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh58/escaperocks1/IMG_1713_zps60222bc9.jpg To get the distressed look on the back, I first sprayed it with Rustoleum Cream White, then light coats of the gloss black. http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh58/escaperocks1/IMG_1712_zps6b534c28.jpg I received a lot of compliments of it this time. Some even asked if I had brought a real piano before they looked closely. It is the stage illusion/effect that I want. http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh58/escaperocks1/IMG_1715_zps7530be6e.jpg The business side. That my Rolls MX122 mixer for my ears on the left http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh58/escaperocks1/IMG_1716_zpse83d8e95.jpg The keys are on an Onstage 2 tier Z stand. I place a shelf on the top tier to hold my MOX as well as other thing such as my laptop or iODock when using those. http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh58/escaperocks1/IMG_1717_zpsb2ef70e0.jpg All in all I really like it now. It gives me a very clean look on stage and has the desired stage look and effect for the audience. The sides fold in. It slides easily into the back of my truck. I just setup my rig then set this around it: Instant piano on stage. David Gig Rig:Depends on the day

krisruston
Nice! Will it fold up? It does! I have door hinges on the inside of the 2x4 frame, as well as the outside so that it folds like an accordion. The box will have handles on the sides, so no issues taking it off the frame that will be quick to fold up and strike from the stage. I'll be sure to post a video once it's varnished and all the hardware (and keyboards!) is/are installed. Looking to take it on the road in March. It functions as a case as well, as it will be lined with foam on the inside. It measures 42"L 28"D 11"H and the stand is 24.5"H.
