Jazzman
Hi All, I may have a great opportunity in doing music for a reality show. I have no clue what to charge. Just music background. At this time I don't know if it is a one time thing and the music will be played as an intro or they may be asking for a varity of music types. If they get the music what should I look out for? Maybe I want to use the song on a future album, pit falls, etc. that I may encounter? Any thoughts?? Thanks in advance, Jazzman
ksoper
You'll be lucky if they pay you at all. That's the first pitfall. The reality show experience I had wasn't good, and that was on an NBC show sponsored by Yum Brands (Pepsi, KFC, Taco Bell...). Whatever you can negotiate, make sure your attorney reads the contract. 9 Moog things, 3 Roland things, 2 Hammond things and a computer with stuff on it
