Converting DX7 patches for the SY77?

I know I might get a better response from a Yamaha forum, but I thought I'd try here first. I tried googling but the results were a mixed bag.

Q: Does anyone know of a convenient software that converts DX7 (and related FM synth) sysex for the SY77/TG77? As you know, there are literally thousands of sounds for the DX floating around and not that much for the SY line.

Preferably (modern) Mac and...free. :)

Cheapo app for PC ...

FM Alive

Free ...

DXconvert 2.1.1 did it together w/ Python 2.7.3 and the d2s.py file in a command line process on PC.

If you had an ATARI ST and Steinberg Synthworks SY/TG77 and/or C-Lab Xalyzer, you´d be a lucky guy.

On MAC I only know Sounddiver v3.0.5.2 (latest update) for Mac OS9.

In fact, I stock ATARI and Mac G3/Powerbook G3 for such tasks because it works best w/ these old apps and machines.

I´m not sure if the x-factory stuff does conversions from DX7, DXmkII to SY77 & 99 as well as TG77 models.

Because these are librarians that doesn´t mean they convert reliable or at all.

I tried to find infos but found nothing about conversions.
