Gary75
Does anyone have experience of issues with the pitch stick not resetting centre? It's not noticeable with built in sounds, but when I tried it to control the scoop/fall on NI Session Strings, it sometimes does not seem to centre as the scoop keeps triggering even if I leave go of the pitch stick. It will rectify after a few seconds, but it seems like the sensitivity and general springiness of the pitch stick is not conductive to purely on/off data but for continuous motion appears to be fine. A pain, as ill have to take a second board when I was hoping to squeeze the gig across a split or several.
mate stubb
Never had issues with mine. I love the pitch stick. Tusker
The Roland guys had a method for resetting the center of the joystick, when the springs went off center. You might look to see if Nord has a similar re-calibration routine. (I realize unlike the Roland Nord has no dead spot, but being good engineers, they might have a software overlay also.) GDP
I always suspected the "stick" would become flaky over time, but mine is as stable as the day I bought it. It's great. My Mopho keyboard never centered correctly. Nothing audible but when connected to MIDIOX you could see it sending midi data continuously.
