Phnymiboy
All I can say it was the best concert I have seen in the last ten years. Talk about creating a sonic atmosphere. Wow! The staging was fantastic with percussionists on either side of the stage. There was a string trio and brass trio in the back. Besides a main keyboard player, all the guys in the group all had keyboards (besides their main instrument)that they would play at different times. Even the drummer had a keyboard. Couldn't make out what type of keys were being played as everything was in the dark or covered. I think it was their last concert on the American tour and I'm sure glad they came to Miami. http://bigfun3.bandcamp.com www.facebook.com/BigFunThree
Bridog6996
I saw them some years ago when they were touring after the album Takk came out. Easily one of the most amazing concerts I've been to. My YouTube Channel
RABid
How does the music translate live? I've thought about going to see them or Hammock, another one of my favorites. I'm so used to listening to that music with headphones that ... This post edited for speling.

Very deep almost sub sonic bottom. And with Jonsi bowing the guitar... http://bigfun3.bandcamp.com www.facebook.com/BigFunThree

All those extra percussionists do add quite a bit of presence, but they also have great control over dynamics. When I saw them last year, their founding keyboardist Kjartan had just left the band, so I was concerned about what that would do to their sound. He wrote or cowrote so many of their best tunes. The player that they got to play his parts did so capabily. BTW, Jonsi has a unique and imo amazing stage presence as the frontman.
