mcgoo
Theo- Trying to intellectualize, break down, analyze & understand the sound of a Minimoog is going to be as futile as doing the same to a good woman. I recommend (in both cases) that you stop thinking so much & just get your hands on one. Understanding on a more primitive (and satisfying) level will ensue. Trust me. Allister
Now on a searal note ... We have to add in the variable of room acoustics and the amplification device and the....nope!...still 42. Also all the components inside the Moog (capacitors and such) will all have minute differences. Under the surface it's quite an interesting problem to try and solve... probably slightly less futile than understanding a woman Yamaha MOX8, Roland VK8, LESLIE HL822 Woop woop!!!! and a MBP running PT10 and Omnisphere.
