Bob Gollihur
Enjoyed the crap outa Tower of Power complete with Rocco last Thursday, they put on a great show, tighter than a {insert your own obscene reference}. Drove down to Alexandria VA for a long weekend, they played a neat little venue, The Birchmere. Highly recommended, excellent food and many beers, but get there early for the best seats! 1000 Upright Bass Links, Luthier Directory, Teacher Directory - http://www.gollihurmusic.com/links.cfm - Life is too short for bad tone -
Wally Malone
A friend of mine, Jerry Cortez is the guitar player and I've been following their travels on FB and they've been keeping up a really heavy touring schedule. He posts some great photos from around the world. They've always been one of my favorite bands. Wally I have basses to play, places to be and good music to make! Richard W
Always loved that moment on "Waiting for Columbus" when, as "Spanish Moon" is fading out, Lowell George shouts "Tower of Power horns!" Saw them a year or two ago at Yoshi's in Oakland, and, man, did they ever deliver! Gives a whole new meaning to the word "tight." SteveC
It's been a few years since they've been anywhere close to me. I saw them at a casino show by Minneapolis a while back and they were great. Rocco was inspirational and friendly to chat with for a couple minutes after the show. I wish I didn't live so far away from live performances. They really fire me up and I could use it right now.

I missed them last year I think, even though Nancy told me about them playing less than an hour from where I live "I'm a work in progress."
