Joe Muscara
Is this the song you're referring to? Jazzmammal
Keyboard score? Of what? This is just a rhythm jam. Listen to the record and play what you feel on something like this. Bob Hammond SK1, Mojo 61, Kurzweil PC3, Korg Pa3x, Roland FA06, Band in a Box, Real Band, Studio One, too much stuff...
Moon Zero Two
What a group of super stars! They could play anything and it would sound great. If you like this be sure to check out the Montreal jazz show legends live. Probably my favorite live DVD. Lots of Marcus tunes. He is off the hook! Thanks for sharing. Moon Zero Two
Oh and I see that the lead sheet is posted on the Lucas Pickford site, that is a big help. I recommend getting transcribe the best transcribing tool on the planet. Zero in on some isolated chords for some voicing ideas.
whitenoise
No worties guys. I've transcribed that song. I disagree with a jam concept. There are certain leaks to play. The keyboardis is also supposed to play a bass line before the solos part starts. This bass line has also some specific parts to repeat. It took me few hours to peak everything. I-missRichardTee
I ain't never heard no jam sound half as good. Love Marcus.
