lightbg
Ah, yes, nothing like a night in Lenny Dee's Dolphin Den in Tampa/St.Pete, Fla. Anyone who listened to his rendition of "Mule Train" and didn't turn purple from laughing HAD no sense of humor. That hot-rodded Model A with the fluorescent red and green keyboards still brings back memories. The man was a monster technician and, even though he wasn't a textbook "jazzer", you never left his shows disappointed - a great organist ("First I played piano, then I switched to organ.....now I'm the pianist organist you ever heard"). Who else could get away with a joke like that? 1967 B-3 w/(2) 122's, Nord C1w/Leslie 2101 top, Nord PedalKeys 27, Nord Electro 4D, IK B3X, QSC K12.2, Yamaha reface YC+CS+CP "It needs a Hammond"
