wraub
[Activates cybernetic Ed Sullivan} Hello, kiddies. Presented in the spirit of giving and sharing, here's this almost relentlessly groovy band of youngsters from the great State of Michigan. Several impressionable young lads with winning looks and talent to spare... I think you'll be hearing more about them in the future. Especially their electric bass player, Joe Dart, who seems poised for greatness. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome... vulfpeck. [video:youtube] [places cybernetic Ed Sullivan back in shipping container] I'm a lot more like I am now than I was when I got here.
jeremy c
That was strange. I kept waiting for a melody part to come in. And what's up with the cowbell player and the drummer's weird way of hitting the high-hat? Good playing, though. Free download of my cd!.
wraub
In their defense, I just pulled one of their vids at random, check out their page. That said, really more of a groove thing than super melodic, but other songs differ... I think the cowbell guy was trying to exercise restraint, and the drummer is playing a child's drumset, so... I'm a lot more like I am now than I was when I got here.
b5pilot
Yes, I've heard of these guys. Very cool. Joe can really make that ol' Squier P groove! Lydian mode? The only mode I know has the words "pie ala" in front of it. http://www.myspace.com/theeldoradosband
EddiePlaysBass
That. Was. Awesome! I totally like it. The groove to me IS the melody, really. I may be humming this in my sleep tonight "I'm a work in progress." Micky Barnes The Ross Brown Shirt World Tour

Take it away...
