sbeachx75
Has anyone tried these, by chance? I was thinking about giving them a shot on my Warwick Corvette-Std. and wanted to know if anyone here had feedback on them. I tried searching the forum, but didn't turn up any info. http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/stringsandbeyond_2267_79936740 PS- I also wanted to take the opportunity to say hello as this is my first post. I'm a bass player in the Boston area, having graduated from Berklee College of Music in '12. My favorite genre to listen to/play would have to be metal and I draw much of my inspiration from Dream Theater, Opeth, Between the Buried and Me, Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God... I have a few different basses: A Yamaha RBX375, an Ibanez SR506, a ESP LTD B-105, a Michael Kelley DragonFly 5, and the 4-string Warwick mentioned above. jeremy c
Welcome to the forum! I've used DR strings for years and have always been happy with them. I've never used those particular strings. Free download of my cd!.
Raven
I love the DDT's. We tune down a half step and I use them on my three main basses. DR even put together a 6-string set for me for my Washburn. They hadn't had anyone request a 6-string set from them before. These strings stay in tune and last just as well as the DR Hi-beams I used to use. I would recommend these strings to anyone that tunes down.
