Nicklab
I actually saw one of these basses at the Cream reunion gig I attended at Madison Square Garden. And it sat on a stand, ALL NIGHT LONG! Jack only played his Gibson EB-1 for the whole gig. And it does look something like the bastard child of a Wal, a Warwick and a Gibson EB-3. Has anyone actually seen Jack perform with one of these live? jcadmus
Nice, looks very Wal-ish I was thinking the same thing. But then I've always found Warwick's to be a bit derivative. "Tours widely in the southwestern tip of Kentucky"
Russkull
Has anyone actually seen Jack perform with one of these live? I think he plays with something similar (different color) on the Royal Albert Hall DVD. Will watch it again to confirm that. And may I add how jealous I am that you got to see them live... kenfxj
I'm thinking if I had 6K to burn I'd get a Ric 4003 and a Thunderbird and keep the change. But that is a pretty Warwick. Push the button Frank.
_Sweet Willie_
I'd just get a Wal. Full stop. Peace. --s-uu spreadluv Fanboy? Why, yes! Nordstrand Pickups and Guitars. Messiaen knew how to parlay the funk.
Nicklab
I'd just get a Wal. Full stop. Peace. --s-uu +1 Hell, I remember when my local Sam Ash had A COUPLE of Wal's hanging up. If I knew then what I know now! But then, one was that red Geddy Lee looking Wal. Looks like he's playing a fretless Thumb, not this bass. Either way, I was amazed again how he never sounds like he's playing fretless, until he wants to. picker
If I had 6 large, I'd get a better vehicle to drive. Always remember that you are unique. Just like everyone else.
