CEB
I got rid of a old keyboard and picked up a little bitty tube amp I am going to try to gig with. It sounds good at home. It is one of these. CEB
I used it tonight. The overdrive channel sounded good at home but at rehearsal I thought it generated too much hiss. The clean channel sounded good. Using either my Rat or Visual Sound OD into the clean channel works well. I wa shocked how loud it would get. Hopefully it holds up well. Larryz
Congrats! Hope it works out for you...Many amps and pedals can get hiss'y with the overdrive vibe especially when everything is quiet on stage. You might try turning the gain down and the volume up and just and run the gain channel a little higher than your clean channel for leads (or better yet, just do what you're doing and run a good overdrive/distortion pedal on your clean channel)... Take care, Larryz
CEB
I did try that but I fear these Blackstars are just being true to their Marshall roots. LOL.
