Danzilla
Very sad. The early yes albums were great - their cover of "Every Little Thing" gave him a showcase, and "Survival" was another strong song that I used to fiddle with. Back in the late 80's/early 90's he released a solo album; may have been on the No Speak label. I remember the liner notes said "If you enjoyed listening to this album half as much as I enjoyed making it, then I enjoyed it twice as much as you." I stil paraphrase that a lot. "Am I enough of a freak to be worth paying to see?"- Separated Out (Marillion) NEW band Old band

whitefang
RIP and yep 65 is far too young. I found that first YES LP at a thrift shop, and was impressed with Banks' playing. Discovered his name among the personel on other older LPs. When you have that creative a mind, you're NEVER too old to die young. Whitefang I started out with NOTHING...and I still have most of it left!
