What to play for that kinda smooth country music anyway on keyboard... Anybody here played to something like that? Besides albatross i never liked them btw. I've done a lot of that along with playing a lot of stuff that wasn't what I liked best. When you ask, "where's the gig and how much?", you don't get to decide. When you can answer that question you get to decide. The Shaddows? Never heard of them. I had to look it up. Perhaps I just forgot. So that's where Apache came from! One of them anyway. I love that tune and everybody I've played it with loved the greasy Hammond. Smooth country piano is a blast, depending on what you mean by country. When you can answer that question you get to decide. I guess you're right. I'm too old to play what I don't like. I called the guy and refused to play for that gig.
