mate stubb
If it was me, I would try a configuration with the volume pedal on top of the footpedals, more like a real B-3. Moe ---
Michael Wright
That's a good idea. Thanks Moe. "I cried when I wrote this song Sue me if I play too long" Walter Becker Donald Fagan 1977 Deacon Blues
b3halt
If you wanna learn the proper heel-toe technique, you might wanna make wooden pedal extensions. I think the Crumar pedal is similar to the Roland PK-5 because each plastic pedal piece is attached by two screws. It's pretty simple to replace those pieces. http://sphotos-a.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/526840_4585006779092_1577108394_n.jpg More info about how to make them. https://forums.musicplayer.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/2453810/Wooden_pedal_extensions_for_th#Post2453810 58 Hammond B3, 74 Leslie 122, 64 Hammond, A100, 61 Leslie 45, Hammond XK-5 system, Hammond SX Pro, SKX Pro, MAG P-2, etc... owned many others... b3halt
Thanks Mike. It's pretty simple. You don't have to paint them, but if you do, their surface gets smoother. Also, I recommend to cut all the corners because they are quite sharp. I modified three of the Roland PK-5a like this, and it really works. You can really built your heel toe technique with this kind of thing. Let me know if you have questions. 58 Hammond B3, 74 Leslie 122, 64 Hammond, A100, 61 Leslie 45, Hammond XK-5 system, Hammond SX Pro, SKX Pro, MAG P-2, etc... owned many others...
