I'm sorry about the poor picture quality, my phone cam isn't real spiffy.

Apparently, it's a limited edition model, came with a brass nut and gold hardware. It's in like new condition. Even the case doesn't have a mark on it. And I paid $320 for it. Not too bad a deal, I think.

Nice Picker, congrats!

I always thought the Flying V shape was very cool. As 80's as the V and the Explorer look they both debuted in 1958.

Bit of a nuisance to play seated is the only knock.

What type of music you fixing to play with that thing?

Push the button Frank.

Flying V trivia: A 1958-59 Gibson korina Flying V guitar in good shape can fetch a quarter of a million dollars.

Personal Flying V opinion: I think the shape suits a bass considerably better than a guitar.

Probably blues, classic rock, Lithuanian folk tunes, open-toed sandal dance music, you know, the usual stuff...

It looks heavy, is it?

8.4 lbs. It's pretty light, really. It's not a boat anchor anyway. The neck is thinner than I usually like, but it feels pretty good.

Excellent deal, sir - way to represent!

Is it a 34" scale? A fair amount of Epi's use a shorter scale.

30 1/2". I don't usually like shorter scale basses, but this one doesn't sound plunky like a lot of 'em.
