The joys of running a concert

Rockhouse

Recommended Posts

I'm used to being a performer, but every year for the past ten years I run a concert to help local kids with cancer.

Today, we will have 50+ performers playing everything from solo stuff to 10-piece bands.

It makes me realise how hard promoters work. It's so much easier to just go up and play.

The really fun bit, for me, is that I get to play during a headcutting contest against one of the best guitarists in the state. Every year, he wins.

But I have a feeling I'm ready for him this year . . .

Wish me luck!
