How do you handle distractions?

Recommended Posts

You have to make sure you stay completely focussed and professional and don't....

What was I saying?

Too Funny.

I happened to think after I posted that comment that those of you without kids might not get it (obviously Tom does). For those of you who didn't....

What song were you singing when the cougar started up with the entertainment? Good thing your wife was at the gig. That distraction looks like trouble. People should not eff with you while you're singing. That's a pictorial example of why you need to be on stage. I seldom am either and can be a little feisty. Buy that one a shot of Cuervo and introduce her to the drummer.

I think I was singing "Yellow Moon" by the Neville Brothers.

Yeah, I would prefer to be on the stage, but that wasn't an option there. Besides, I normally have 2 boards up there that act as a buffer.

I played a gig many years ago where this 60 year old woman took off her pants, and tried to stick her thong covered backside in my face. The other guys were busting out laughing as I not so kindly told her to put that thing away.

Gives me the heebie jeebies just thinking about it.

"In the beginning, Adam had the blues, 'cause he was lonesome.

So God helped him and created woman.

Now everybody's got the blues."

Now that I look at that pic again, the rest of the band is on stage, and you're set up on the dance floor.....asking for trouble!!!
