I had forgotten about the cancer, so this is quite a shock. :(

It's very sad. Very young. Actually i was more into their instrumental albums - "the in sound from way out" and the second one (don't remember the title). It's a huge loss for the hip hop community (and i believe NYC)
Be grateful for what you've got - a Nord, a laptop and two hands

I didn't realize he had throat cancer. When I heard he passed, I figured the sheriff finally caught up to him for what he did to his daughter.

RIP MCA

It was salivary gland cancer actually. This bit of news had particular resonance for me as it was the same cancer I was diagnosed with 7 years ago. Made me realise I'm very lucky to be alive. RIP.

Here in NYC, it feels like a little but important piece of the city itself died today. :(

Yep, Brooklyn has lost a son. RIP MCA. Respect.

Instrumentation is meaningless - a song either stands on its own merit, or it requires bells and whistles to cover its lack of adequacy, much less quality. - kanker
