RABid Posted April 3, 2012 Author Share Posted April 3, 2012 I'm still waiting for the NCAA to admit they screwed up when they screwed over Memphis by approving a player and certifying his entrance qualifications, then coming back later and saying "He should not have played after all. We are taking away all of your wins." This is the same NCAA that makes a profit licensing game footage of players to UPS to use in a commercial but penalizes players if they take advantage of any opportunities. I would love to see the players organize and fight back. Can you imagine what it would be like for music majors if the college could take you on tour and sell recordings of your playing, keep all the money, and tell you that you are not allowed to make any money on the side? Would it be justified just because you are on scholarship? The NCAA is a bunch of hypocrites determined to keep control of a free workforce and exploit young athletes for every penny they can get.
