Steve Force
I am in a Robin Trower mood. "Bridge of Sighs' record. Cranked. Signal chain: iTunes -> PC -> FireWire -> Yamaha N12 mixer -> Yorkville powered subwoofer -> ADAM-7 powered monitors. It doesn't suck. Tonysounds
My band performed the entire Bridge of Sighs album (with me on bass) for a Classic Album Thursdays at a downtown club last summer. A complete blast. I LOVE that stuff, and so does our guitarist. Hitting "Play" does NOT constitute live performance. -Me.
CEB
The "Jam band" I was in played Bridge of Sighs. The guitar solos were way too long but it was neat. I voiced most of the tune using 'So What' chords. They gave me a piano solo where I played a lot of dorian modal stuff. Steve Force
Go to a used CD store and get it for $3.99. Word. I listened to the whole recording, not just that tune. I imagined playing zydeco accordion along with it. Steve Force, Durham, North Carolina -------- My Professional Websites
mcgoo
What is it about keyboard players loving on Robin Trower? I have 5 or 6 of his LPs from yesteryear and I loved that stuff... and there was nary a keyboard in sight. The live album was always my favorite.
