AnotherScott Posted March 8, 2012 Share Posted March 8, 2012 The lower weight of the K8 would be nice, but then the K10 is only $50 more roughly (but 5 more lbs.). And even for home use seems like you always have to schlep them occasionally. Decisions....?? I'll chime in with my usual... if you don't need every last decibel of the K8, the EV ZXa1 will weigh less, cost less, and sound better, especially for piano. Since it's mostly for home use, and weight is a big concern when you do have to move them, that's what I'd suggest, unless the times you need to move them really need more volume.
