cleomenesII
This is from Oscar Peterson's show in 1976. The first bit is just Rick Wakeman doing his stuff, but in the last part they do a duet, with Oscar on Mini (they could have chosen a better sound) and, if I recall correctly (it is a long time since I saw it) Rick accompanying on Mellotron. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9z5ouOpvBE

Gary75
Rick sounds nervous! And rightly so! Great find, thanks!
mate stubb
Oscar was a big Rhodes Chroma fan too. Moe --- "I keep wanting to like it's sound, but every demo seems to demonstrate that it has the earth-shaking punch and peerless sonics of the Roland Gaia. The Real MC
Pretty rare to hear Rick on a Rhodes! Thanks for finding this. Rick is not what I'd call a "Rhodes scholar" but I have a concert DVD of his Journey To The Center Of The Earth tour and he plunks his Rhodes almost as often as his twin minimoogs.
