Mizu
So... my daughter loves Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. My lovely wife thought it would be fun to involve daddy, so she got me the sheet music for Christmas. Oy. I'm being schooled big time here. Key changes every 8 bars, lots of flats, sharps, or both, and since my daughter knows it by heart she'll glare at me every time I play a clam or deviate from the rhythm as composed. I know some of you do pit work for musicals - is this the norm, i.e. are the keys all over the place in the stuff you play?
