Greg Mein
Please tell me this is going to be a regular feature in the magazine! I was so excited when I turned the page and saw that I nearly dropped my cookies! The story of how a very popular song came to be complete with notation. I could read a whole magazine of articles like that, no a book or perhaps a library full! Thanks and keep 'em coming! https://www.facebook.com/Meinfield-346702719450783/ Songs on SoundCloud

AnalogGuy1
Fan-freakin'-tastic! If this is for real I'll nominate for consideration Boston's Foreplay (Long Time) for a future issue too. (We're talking real keyboard part of a band here, and not a PVG-style arrangment right? Keyboard mag arrives where I live about a week after many posters seem to get it, so advance news is welcome). Tonysounds
All kidding aside, I agree: The song feature is a great idea, and think of the possibilities: Greg Rolie (anything really, but Hope Yer Feelin Better, Jungle Strut, or of course Soul Sacrifice!) Gregg Allman Whippin Post (I love the alternating major/minor of the verse) Steve Porcaro/David Paich: Rosanna Tom Scholz: Foreplay/Long Time Mick Jones (Foreigner): Cold As Ice, Damage is Done, Yesterday. Herbie: Chameleon Ill stop here and go back to work! Hitting "Play" does NOT constitute live performance. -Me.
