16251
The Santana album Borboletta was just talked about in another thread. I always loved the beginning keyboard into sound to the song Mirage. Anyone ever try to recreate and what keyboard do you think was used on original? CrimsonianKing
Your guess is as good as mine, man. I've heard some live stuff from that line-up, and Tom used some effects like flanger and phaser on his Hammond, so can't tell for sure. I'd say it's a moog, but it could definitely be something else. Tonysounds
[video:youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_YsoCDrnH4 You can get this with almost any synth any more, but while Coster was definitely an ARP guy, this just reeks of Moog to me. mate stubb
Sounds like narrow pulse width VCOs to get that reedy sound, tuned in octaves. Moe --- "I keep wanting to like it's sound, but every demo seems to demonstrate that it has the earth-shaking punch and peerless sonics of the Roland Gaia.
