And how's the Dano French Toast now that you've so modded it? Oh well, eating at tables is overrated anyway! Yeah, and getting a great fuzz tone with modulated echoes repeating endlessly while you eat chili over Raman noodles is so much cooler than Ward 'n' June-in' it with The Beav! Seriously! And how's the Dano French Toast now that you've so modded it? the sag charger was a pain in the ass...it's a great sounding pedal, it DOES sound somewhat like a klon...enough that i made it my go-to overdrive now on my stage pedalboard. it's not a klon tho, but it's based on one. i didn't do alot of the possible mods people had posted, as i ...well...frankly, was too lazy. i debugged that pedal for 2 weeks until i realized a diode on the layout was backwards, preventing any b+ voltage to reach the chips. the octave up is great; the main thing, the most important, was to make an led light up when the effect is on...see, alot of times when i power up the board, some of the effects come up ON. the french toast in particular, and can make some ungodly background hash that sends me in a frenzied tap dance to kill the offending device. it's easier now. the only thing i did to it was replace the tiny clipping diodes with some tiny ge 1n34a's. love the thing...but don't use it enough to merit having on my board right now. trying to go very lean to make it easy on the back at the end of the night. http://www.sweetrelief.org/ https://www.wepay.com/donations/memorial-stone-for-juliane-pocius Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
