Synthoid
Forgot to mention... my wife and I were away last week at the beach (Ocean City, MD). We did a stopover in Rehoboth to visit the Dogfish Head pub there: http://www.pubprincess.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/img_2977.JPG Highly recommended! The food and service were excellent, but the beverages really caught my attention. They make a few select beers on site... including ones with rather unusual ingredients. If you're a connoisseur, it's well worth the trip. When an eel hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's a Moray.
NoahZark
We've got a Dogfish Head outlet near us, and, although it doesn't brew on site (as I think the one in Rehoboth does), it does serve a variety of Dogfish Head beers. They are damn good. And yes, the food is pretty good as well. Ours even has live music on weekends, although it's mostly duos and soloists since the bar area is pretty tight. Dana.
I love me some DFH. Their Bitches Brew was outstanding. Now that it's fall, I'm looking forward to their Punkin Ale.
Synthoid
I tried a couple of pub exclusives while there... Death Metal (Intense Imperial Stout) and Midas Touchstone (Cherry flavored "wild ale"). Both were excellent. When an eel hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's a Moray. I thought LearJeff promised to buy us a round a couple of days ago. Whatever happened to THAT invitation, huh? BluesKeys - if you can get LearJeff off his butt, I'll buy round #2. Whatdayasay? Synthoid
I like the IPA myself I've been enjoying the 60 minute IPA for over a year now... but it's been fun sampling the more exotic brews. DanS
Been to that very same location many times. Excellent food & beverages. The Rams Head (down near the boardwalk when it was still around) was great as well. What we record in life, echoes in eternity.
