Wanna be a bit more specific? I personally don't know that song, and by the way people talk on this forum, not too many others will. Post a youtube link or something?

I believe what Griff is getting at is that helping you with a riff like that would be cheating you. Just get stubborn and make it happen. It might take a few minutes, but the added skill and understanding that you would gain from doing it yourself would make you a better player. If becoming a better player isn't your goal and you just want to learn to play the lick, there are plenty of tabs out there. Just Google it. Sorry if I'm off with my assumptions there, Griff! :)

yep, what they said... find key (looks like C sharp at first glance, but I know they tune down some times) and play first two notes of Smoke On The Water and you're off...

Nope, you hit the nail right on the head. :thu:

Training your ear is the best thing any musician can do to improve your skills, and the first step to ear training is learning how to match notes.

I'm with the others in this. If you are looking for help with a really hard part that you can't figure out, we'll be here for you. However, this part is really simple. It's just a few notes. Use the slow down feature, available in most players, if you just can't make it out; then, figure it out one note at a time. It would take us longer to figure it out and write out the tab for you, then it would for you to do it yourself.

On the plus side, you will feel great about it because you figured it out yourself. It's how you develop an ear for music. It will aid you greatly when you start improvising solos.

im happy for you buscha. If you come to a dead end or something, find an mp3 of it and put it in windows media player so that you can slow it down. Hopefully that helps?
