Dave Ferris Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 I saw Pamela and her then husband, Greg Kurstin, at a little club in Sherman Oaks years ago. They had a trad Jazz trio format and Pamela did her thing. Sometimes the Acoustic Bass would lay out and she would walk lines behind Greg. She's a great and very sensitive artist. Greg was a burnin' player but left the Jazz world years ago to get involved with the indie scene as a composer and producer. He's pretty popular from what I understand. He's a great musician so I'm sure whatever he's involved in, it will be of high quality. I still see her name in the paper occasionally. She does little concerts here and there around town. That's a cool clip. https://soundcloud.com/dave-ferris https://www.youtube.com/@daveferris2709 2005 NY Steinway D Yamaha AvantGrand N3X, CP88, P515
keyman27 Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 You have to be a virtuoso to play a straight melody line on the thing. Is it the world's most difficult instrument? If not, what is? What's the easiest?

KenElevenShadows Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 I would think that the Theremin is one of the most difficult instruments to play. A lot of fun to play, but very very difficult.
