Morizzle Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Who said the blues cannot be cute and sexy? It's not a clone, it's a Suzuki.
16251 Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 That was cool but it's not the song I expected to hear? Seeing and hearing old keyboards certainly is better than seeing a picture of them. AvantGrand N2 | ES520 | Gallien-Krueger MK & MP | https://soundcloud.com/pete36251
johnchop Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Head asplode with nostalgia at sight of the Mattel thing. I make software noises.
marino Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 :D Cute and sexy indeed. But... Is it my faulty memory, or is the main theme played wrong?!?
Cygnus64 Posted March 12, 2011 Author Posted March 12, 2011 That was cool but it's not the song I expected to hear? The famous "Exorcist" music is probably what you (and me too) were expecting. That music is side one. This is from side two of Tubular Bells, when Oldfield announces each instrument (which is where "Tubular Bells" comes from).

I know I'm old, but I recall the introductions occured at the end of side one. Unfortunately, my turntable has expired, so I can't confirm this.... www.wjwcreative.com www.linkedin.com/in/wjwilcox

allan_evett Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Doesn't get much better than this That was great. And gear-wise quite a historical trip: Lots of memories, plus I became acquainted with some 'new' old gear. Yes it is the end of side 1, sometimes called TB 1b. Being picky, I know, but the narration was actually by the late great Viv Stanshall http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vivian_Stanshall "Just a tad more attack on the filter, Grandad!"
Dave Pierce Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Wow. That was delicious. The girls were cute too. The Pink Panther clip at the very end was a nice touch... --Dave Make my funk the P-funk. I wants to get funked up. My Funk/Jam originals project: http://www.thefunkery.com/
