lowerhodes Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 I'm mostly on the KC forum but have a question better asked here. Has anyone dealt with Capital Guitars Online? If so, please let me know your impressions, either here or via PM. Thanks. Fender Rhodes (x4) / Wurlitzer 200A / NE3 61 / Motif XS6 / Korg SV-1 73
brushfire Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 If you're talking about Capitol Guitars in St. Paul, MN I haven't dealt with them online. However, a little over a year ago when my son had just about died and was in St. Joseph's hospital for a month across the street from their store, the guys there would let me hang out and play their guitars. I'm very grateful to them for allowing me to get away every now and then from the 24/7 time I was spending at the hospital for that month. Like I said, I haven't dealt with them online but they were very good to me and allowed me to riff out during a very stressful time in my life. I did buy some accessories from them in-store and had no problems. p.s. I saw the link to your post with your subject line listed at Guitar Player's page under Forums.

skipclone 1 Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 They`re in St. Paul eh? maybe I`ll try to drop in there next time I`m visiting the relatives. Speaking of Minnesota-made guitars-well rather than hijack this thread I`ll start another... lowerhodes Posted March 4, 2011 Author Posted March 4, 2011 Thanks for the replies. The Minnesotans sound like good guys. I am referring, however, to a guy who is an internet seller located in New York State who I am considering doing business with but know almost nothing about besides what I have written here. Caevan O'Shite Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Welcome to the GPF, Charlie/Capital Guitars; don't be a stranger! (Your popping up here is completely understandable, but feel welcome to talk guitars, gear, music, technique, etc., to ask or answer questions, and just hang in this virtual pub...) Best of luck with your business! Where in NY are you? I'm in Watkins Glen, NY, near the Southern tip of Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes/Southern Tier Region...
