Awesome - all those Nords just waiting for their owners... kind of my fantasy of what I'd imagine Santa's workshop full of busy elves would look like!

Interesting how the furniture in the background resembled Ikea (also Swedish right?) in design. Fortunately, Nord's standards are light years beyond what Ikea will ever be (oops - wrong forum for this)

If Ikea were to adopt Nord's pricing, you'd see a vastly different level of quality, I'm sure. :snax:

without hijacking this thread... It reminded me of this video I saw a while back. A clip of a Yamaha asia factory. Mostly the video is about mg mixers, but about midway thru there is a great montage of keyboard assembly (electone), poweramps, speakers, mixers.

anyways, if anyone interested

I think it works the other way... if Ikea were to adopt Nord's quality, you'd see a vastly different level of pricing, I'm sure. :snax:

The R&D room in the 3rd video is awesome!!

The temperature tests make me very confident about my NE3 surviving outdoor gigs in the FL summer! :thu:

Six of one, half a dozen of the other.

Either way, comparing Ikea to Nord solely based on them being Swedish is spurious and nonsensical. Anyhoo.... moving on.

With due respect, this statement has it backwards: Post hoc ergo propter hoc. The tail cannot wag the dog in any competitive industry. I agree with Lerber: pricing flows more readily from quality than quality from pricing.

Nice to see the Yamaha video too. :thu:

I wonder if electro-music was down temporarily? On this pc, the links are working now.
