Waldorf repair advice requested.

I know that there are some Waldorf enthusiasts here,so hopefully, you guys can provide some suggestions.

I am down to one Micro Q (original yellow one) that I haven't used in years. I powered it up, and while it plays and functions just fine, there is now a very pronounced hum from its outputs.

Now I hope most of you know me well enough to know that I tried to eliminate the obvious things like changing cables, power outlets, etc, but I'm still getting the issue.

So could this be the symptom of a dying power supply? Luckily, it's external. If that's not the case, I think I'm screwed. What else should I check?

Thanks in advance.

"For instance" is not proof.

Are you sure you're using the right power supply? When I bought my Micro Q (a floor model), it came with the wrong power supply, and I got humming through the outputs (although not through the headphone jack). The store gave me the correct one and everything was fine.
