Sorry to ask this again, but does anyone know if Yamaha are gonna do a gig bag like the one I got for my CP33?

Thanks

My honest answer to this is "no idea", Darren, but I get the feeling Yamaha are fairly ambivalent about their presence in the gig bag market, and their stuff is probably manufactured by a third party anyway.

I use a Gator GK-88, which is a good fit and has wheels, but isn't the best quality and the padding is relatively thin, so you need to be careful. I also briefly had a Gigskinz bag which was better overall quality but it wouldn't stand up on its end properly and the zip broke about a month into ownership.

I wish there was a better selection of bags available in the UK but Gator seem to be the only brand many retailers carry :(

Darren, yeah I have the CP-REST. It's OK as these things go. The one issue with it is that it was originally designed for the earlier CP range which had flat backs. The rounded back of the CP-5 means it doesn't quite fit absolutely tight flush.
