Casio PX pianos off stands?

Hi does anyone know if it's possible to run a Casio PX 700 digital piano, off it's native stand, on an Xframe as a stage piano?

It has an odd native speaker connector so I'd assume all audio output would have to go through the Headphone out. The pedal connectors seem to be 1/4" jacks so I assume 3rd party pedals will work.

I've got the chance to grab one quite cheap but don't want to lug it around as a piece of furniture, I'd dump the stand and just use the board itself.

Thanks

Dave

I briefly had one of these several years ago,

and I'm 99% sure the pedal connection was a mini USB-type connector, similar to the speaker connector

(if I remember correctly), so that'd be your 1st problem... re-wiring/fitting a new socket(s), etc.

The 2nd problem (& I AM sure about this) is that the rear edge of the unit is deeper than the front,

so it would tilt downwards from back-to-front on a regular stand.

Also there are 2 or 3 plastic box things protruding underneath, so they get in the way too.

I wouldn't recommend it unless you're prepared to do some fiddly work.

It's a cheap, and not a very good, 'board anyway - so not worth the hassle IMO.
