I have always been a big fan of all of Jeff's work. But I just did not like the last CD or the Les Paul tribute thing w all the little amps and his tone changed. I wonder how much of that material he is doing? I love Live At Ronnie Scott's, I would pay anything to see and hear that band and the mix of tunes.

He's amazing live. The band he has at the moment are phenomenal, and of course the talents of the man himself need no description. Seeing him do Nessun Dorma in concert is one the best things I've seen, ever.

Welcome to the GPF, 'Dude! :thu:

Really? I dig both! I loved what they did at last year's Grammys...

How about the Crazy Legs album?

From the interviews I've read, the Les Paul/Crazy LEgs tuff is some of Jeff's favorite style. Imelda May's band is terrific, too. I'm looking forward to seeing the show in DC.

Guitar solos last 30 seconds, the bass line lasts for the whole song.

If he comes here, saying things like `I`d pay anything` can sure come back to haunt you.

But having seen him once I can say it`s worth it. I saw G3 with John Petrucci a few months before and didn`t think anything could make me forget about it-until Jeff came to town.

Same old surprises, brand new cliches-
