Scott Fraser Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Yeah, but I'll be out of town on tour when he hits Southern California. Bummer. Scott Fraser

Eric Iverson Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 I expect to be at the Beacon Theater date in NYC. Thanks! I don't want to die without having seem him live at least once.
ToneDude Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 I have always been a big fan of all of Jeff's work. But I just did not like the last CD or the Les Paul tribute thing w all the little amps and his tone changed. I wonder how much of that material he is doing? I love Live At Ronnie Scott's, I would pay anything to see and hear that band and the mix of tunes. "I used to have a short term memory but I forgot where I put it."
Johnnie Black Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 He's amazing live. The band he has at the moment are phenomenal, and of course the talents of the man himself need no description. Seeing him do Nessun Dorma in concert is one the best things I've seen, ever.

Bottom End Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 From the interviews I've read, the Les Paul/Crazy LEgs tuff is some of Jeff's favorite style. Imelda May's band is terrific, too. I'm looking forward to seeing the show in DC. "Call me what instrument you will, though you can fret me, yet you cannot play upon me.'-Hamlet Guitar solos last 30 seconds, the bass line lasts for the whole song.

But having seen him once I can say it`s worth it. I saw G3 with John Petrucci a few months before and didn`t think anything could make me forget about it-until Jeff came to town. Same old surprises, brand new cliches- Skipsounds on Soundclick: www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandid=602491
