Tenstrum Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Finally decided to try out the Pandora app for my Droid X. It works really well. I've been quite impressed with the clarity and streaming ability. I decided to create a new rock station based upon Franz Ferdinand. I've actually been pleasantly surprised by the number of bands, songs, and the variety of artists that has been generated. I'm hearing bands like The Bravery, Killers, Beck, RHCP, and even some Tom Petty and Aerosmith. Overall, I'm glad to have rediscovered Pandora. It makes feeding the horses and working out go by a lot more pleasantly! And I'm definitely loving my Droid X. It's the best phone I've owned so far. So is anyone else using Pandora on their mobile devices? Tenstrum "Paranoid? Probably. But just because you're paranoid doesn't mean there isn't an invisible demon about to eat your face." Richard W Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 I have Pandora on my iPhone, but never use it. Have it on my desktop, and use it occasionally. Mostly just shuffle through my personal iTunes library. "Everyone wants to change the world, but no one thinks of changing themselves." Leo Tolstoy
rumpelstiltskin. Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 i have pandora on my iphone, but i usually use the music i've loaded onto it. i tend not to like shuffle-type operation (whether it be my own music selections or on the radio). i'm an album guy. my wife uses pandora on her iphone almost exclusively. robb. because i like people.
Tenstrum Posted February 9, 2011 Author Posted February 9, 2011 Also been hearing quite a lot of Cake. Mmmmm...tasty! Tenstrum "Paranoid? Probably. But just because you're paranoid doesn't mean there isn't an invisible demon about to eat your face." Harry Dresden, Storm Front
kho3000 Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 I use Pandora quite a bit at work as well as on the road with my EVO. I have quite a few custom channels... everything from Jaco to Reznor/Ross, Sublime, Cake, Interpol and then some heavier channels focused around bands like Misery Signals, Glassjaw and BTBAM.
