Sven Golly Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 For those of you not on Twitter (or not following @KeyboardMag on Twitter), just got this from their feed: Experimental Synth YouTube channel WILL make you better at analog programming and sound design! http://cot.ag/fk7rL3 Only watched a couple of vids, but they seem pretty interesting. Thought folks here might be interested as well. (Note that I have absolutely no affiliation with anyone involved with that channel, nor Keyboard magazine, in case anyone's curious. Also did a search to see if this had been mentioned recently, and nothing found, so here ya go. )
Tusker Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Some interesting techniques there. Thanks for sharing Sven. The chap who is putting these videos together appears to be a former Moog employee: "Chris Stack, now no longer with Moog Music, is instead spending his time putting out a terrific series of demo videos in which he combines a dream studio of Moog gear. (...) Now, hes back with a fantastic set of control voltage demos. (...) The Moog Guitar example is really hauntingly lovely and expressive, meriting mention here. Its a reminder of what a beautiful electronic instrument the guitar can be amidst all the tortuous discussions of how to invent new instruments and interfaces, one might be staring you in the face."
