Sundown
Hey guys, Both SoundTower and SoundQuest make editor/librarian software for the Roland XV-series, and I think I'll bite... I hate programming and tweaking my XV-3080 from the LCD and front panel, and it's far too powerful a synth to just play presets. I already own the Wavestation editor from SoundTower, and their XV editor is only $50 USD. SoundQuest offers MidiQuest which is a multi-product app, but they also offer UniQuest for single instruments at a lower price (about $99 I think). Anyone have experience with recent versions of MidiQuest? Thanks in advance. yannis D
Sorry for my ignorance... but you can download the XV editor for free from Roland... What's the use to buy it? Be grateful for what you've got - a Nord, a laptop and two hands
Sundown
Thanks Yannis - I didn't know about that... I'll try it out, and if it isn't what I'm looking for, I can always buy something else. Thanks again. Sundown Working on: The Jupiter Bluff; Driven Away Main axes: Kawai MP11 and Kurz PC361 DAW Platform: Cubase
