Jr. Deluxe
The Keys player is Mike Lynch, who was using an XK-2. This show had one of the best clonewheel sounds ive heard in a while. I couldnt make out the model of leslie he had. Did anyone see it? I'm curious because i'm getting a good deal on an XK-2 tomorrow and i'd like to know what made Mike Lynch's sound so good (besides Mike Lynch). b_3guy
The Leslie makes the XK-2 sound so good. The Leslie sim on the XK-2 is not very good. I had one but sold it to get a Roland VK-8. Then I sold my Leslies because it had a better Leslie sim. I then traded it in on a Hammond XK-3c. I am now finally happy. Zydecat
Mike is a friend and great player. I've played his rig a few times at blues jams - your basic XK2 through a tube amp into a beefed up 145. Great sound, but his playing is a notch above as well.
