beater
I've entered my design in an online design contest, and I have made it to this month's finals... http://theguitarcustomshop.com/modules/PNphpBB2/files/thumbs/t_bass_guitar_130.gif What do you think? If you like it, please help me out and pop in a vote for it (if you think it's more worthy than the competition there...) Chad Thorne
Not my cup of meat, I lean toward more "traditional" designs, but good luck with it. BTW, beater, as a rule people here like it if you at least introduce yourself, tell us a bit about you, before promoting a personal project. If you really want to join in the forum, I mean. It's worth it; lots of talented and knowledgeable people here (not me) and you no doubt have a lot to share, too.

Richard W
tough to say...is the contest based upon looks or sound? "Everyone wants to change the world, but no one thinks of changing themselves." Leo Tolstoy
b5pilot
Not bad! The headstock is a bit large which will make the bass prone to neck dives so I would recommend scaling it back a bit. The body looks good. Lydian mode? The only mode I know has the words "pie ala" in front of it. http://www.myspace.com/theeldoradosband
Danzilla
Not bad; but I think it's missing a string. "Am I enough of a freak to be worth paying to see?"- Separated Out (Marillion) NEW band Old band

b5pilot
The sock guitar could double as a goalie stick. Lydian mode? The only mode I know has the words "pie ala" in front of it. http://www.myspace.com/theeldoradosband
Russkull
Interesting - especially the mirror image pickups. You'd have to be careful not to bang your drummer on the head with the lower edge of that headstock, though... TimR
... You'd have to be careful not to bang your drummer on the head with the lower edge of that headstock, though... Michele C.
I like it! Very european, I would say. The two inverted P-style pickups are very Warwicky, while the headstock looks very Hagstrom. Do i see a mahogany body with a solid mahogany neck? Looks like my bass' brother. -- Michele Costabile (http://proxybar.net)
