whitefang
I saw something about the Beatles on the History Channel recently where they played a recording of John Lennon claiming he started tuning his "D" string, I think, a little flat so his Auntie would be able to tell which guitar on the record was his. Sort of his version of Carol Burnett's ear tug. Any of you hear of this? or was it his "G" string?(no jokes, please) Whitefang I started out with NOTHING...and I still have most of it left! Caevan O’Shite
I wouldn't be surprised if Lennon was making a joke with that... picker
I doubt George Martin would have stood still for that. Always remember that youre unique. Just like everyone else.
whitefang
I don't know for sure if he was pulling chains, but if you listen to the guitar intro on "A Day In The Life" it sounds as if SOMEbody is slightly out of tune.
