Merlin Zener
I've still got a VFX-SD. Aside from the floppy, it still works. Good, usable sounds. And, as mentioned before, a great rotating leslie effect. -- Merlin Zener Australia. CP70, DX7-II-D, VFX-SD, MRrack, TG55, reason...
MonksDream
You guys are gonna make me pull my SQ-80 out of the closet! Instrumentation is meaningless - a song either stands on its own merit, or it requires bells and whistles to cover its lack of adequacy, much less quality. - kanker
wjwilcox
My main board is an SD1 built in September 1991. It goes out on every gig with me and does the job admirably. Aftertouch no longer works but everything else does and I often get compliments on it's sound. www.wjwcreative.com www.linkedin.com/in/wjwilcox
Atomic Shadow
My wife has an SD-1 in her gig rig that we bought in 91 as well. Apart from replacing the battery once it has never had a single problem. It sounds fat and it's simple to use. http://atomicshadow.bandcamp.com/
ADino
Ive had loads of Ensoniq, still have my old Sampled Piano Module, and use an ASR10 everyday in my studio. THe last great board they made was the 10. Always hoped they would take the 10 a few steps further b4 they went out. In all the years of using their stuff, never had 1 break on me.
